Happy Mardi Gras!!

My husband and I have written so many books that take place in New Orleans that we thought we'd share them today so you can be an armchair traveler to the Crescent City.

Honeymoon in New Orleans:

Planning a vacation? Why not New Orleans? It's one of my favorite cities in the world and I've returned to it many times over the years. I wrote this travelogue/romance novel about my favorite places to visit, dine, and stay overnight in The Crescent City and Louisiana. My travelogue also includes helpful websites to consider before planning your next vacation.

The Ghost in the Plantation:
A Nancy Keene Mystery

Do you like Nancy Drew? Do you like New Orleans? If so, you will enjoy this humorous and PG-rated story about a teenage sleuth that especially targets women baby boomers who grew up reading and loving the Nancy Drew series. Nancy Keene, the teenage sleuth in this story, goes on vacation with her father and friends to the French Quarter. What starts out as a sight-seeing trip changes into a murder/mystery when a docent at Oak Alley Plantation is murdered while they are there. Part travelogue, part ghost story, this book mixes voodoo, ghosts, and bayous into a spicy gumbo of a whodunit.

In this riveting murder mystery, Homicide Detective Yvonne Dauphin risks her life and sanity when she checks herself out of the hospital after a bipolar meltdown, determined to prove to her boss and coworkers that’s she still up to the job of capturing a serial killer who has been terrorizing New Orleans. To complicate matters further, she is hoping to reunite with her ex-husband. If you like strong female characters who triumph against the odds, you will like this story.

Our latest mystery series is on sale at Smashwords.com for 50% off through March 11, 2019.  All three mysteries take place in New Orleans and star female homicide detective Yvonne Dauphin.

Here's a description of the three books in the series:

This series stars female homicide detective Yvonne Dauphin and takes place in New Orleans. Although the stories in the series occur in numerical order, each can be read as a stand-alone. Fighting Demons opens with my main character checking herself out of a psychiatric hospital determined to show her boss that she is up to the task of capturing a serial killer. Deadly Promises is about human trafficking. Several young women are found dead in a shipping container from Poland. Yvonne and her team must figure out how they came to meet such fate. Fifty Shades of Dead is the most recent release. In this story, a young woman goes out to dinner with a man she's just met at the theater where they've watched 50 Shades of Grey. He bears a striking to the actor who portrayed Christian Grey and also had a "red room". She decides to take a walk on the wild side with deadly results.

Mardi Gras

Hey Ya'll:

Today is Mardi Gras in the beautiful American city, New Orleans.  Who, besides me, is wishing they could be in Louisiana right now?

If you can't make the trip, you can settle for the next best thing: you could be an arm chair traveler and read our book: "The Ghost in the Plantation: A Nancy Keene Mystery."

Written for women baby boomers who grew up loving Nancy Drew, this somewhat racy story has our teenage sleuth traveling to the Crescent City with her "chums" and her father, and investigating the murder of a docent at Oak Alley Plantation that happens while she's there on a tour.
